Two members of the fighting 13, Lucious Vorenus (Kevin McKidd, Kingdom of Heaven) and Titus Pullo (Ray Stevenson, King Arthur), are the central characters of the show.

Vorenus is a conscientious soldier and family man. The men and Caesar himself respect him. The bottle is feminine, for a hard-drinking man.
